Puppy dog came to school.
Yesterday Miss Fuehrers friend brought one of Tess's puppies to school. It was funny when it looked at Lilas pants. We each got to pat her. She kept sniffing our hands because she smelled something nice. She is a black labrador. It was funny when she tried to lick Joshs face. The puppy rested her head on Liliarnas lap. She must have been getting tired. The puppy was trying to eat Neves socks.

Week Four Term Two
Our letter of the week is Rr. Our shared poem is Pirate. Our shared book for the week is 'Cass the Colour Robber.'
Toby, Liliarna, Mason and Tarris are going to What Now on Sunday to celebrate Toby's 7th birthday.
Flynn and Bailey Smith won a pop-up book off What Now.
At game sense we are learning about rugby. We had to hold the ball in two hands, we learned how to pass to other people. Julie taught us how to play candlesticks.
In art we took our pencils for a walk around the page. Next we will colour them in with pastels.
Lucy is our star of the week. Flynn was our star last week.

Week Three Term Two
The make a noise concert is on this week. We are excited because there will be drums and guitars and we are going to watch it today.
Today it is Neves birthday. She turned 7.
We made telephones for our poem last week. This weeks poem is zebra.
Our shared book for the week is 'Where is the sun?' The elephant and the parrot thought the melon was the sun.
The letter of the week last week was B and we made some bouncing birds. The letter of the week is M. Mason begins with M.
For art we have been doing some weaving. We had to go over and then under.
On the activboard for reading we have learning about compound words.

Week Two Term Two
Last week we made clowns for our poem. Our clowns had enormous shoes, a blue hat and a purple wig. They also had a red and yellow suit.
Our wow word chart has interesting words from the stories we read.
We've been using the activboard lots in class.

We made some pretty cool autumn leaves and then we wrote some instructions about how to make them.

Week One Term Two
We all had really fantastic holidays and we are looking forward to another great term. Here are some of the things we did.
In the holidays it was my Nana's birthday - Baljeet
We went to Dunedin and we went to the chocolate factory - Neve
In the holidays we went to Christchurch and we had easter at our Nana's -Scarlett
I went to Amy's birthday and we went to the shearers quarters, the movies and zest for tea - Roshean
On Thursday I went to Sherinas to stay the night - Talai
We went to Tekapo and we went ice skating - Jood
In the holidays I stayed the night at my cousins - Zoe
On the 17th of April I won a camera on What Now - Toby
In the holidays I went to Australia and we went to all the theme parks - Tarris
I went to Oamaru with my cousin and we went to the swimming pool - Aaron

On Easter Sunday it was my little brother Lenny's birthday - Mason
In the holidays I went to the warehouse and I got a ladybird littlest pet shop. It came with lots of things - Georgia
